Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Slow Play Hotline (the "Hotline"), a promotional voicemail service operated by MANORS Apparel Limited ("MANORS", "we", "us", "our") in collaboration with Jack Daniel's / Gentleman Jack, a brand of Brown-Forman Corporation ("Brand Partner").

By leaving a voicemail on the Hotline, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  1. You confirm that you are 21 years of age or older at the time of your call.
  2. You confirm that you are a legal resident of the United States or are calling from within the United States.
  3. The Hotline is not intended for use by anyone under the legal drinking age in the United States (21). If we have reason to believe a caller is under 21, any associated data will be deleted and no further communication will be made.
  4. Employees, officers, and directors of MANORS Apparel Limited and Brown-Forman Corporation (and their immediate families) are eligible to participate but are not eligible for any promotional offers or prizes.

2. How the Hotline Works

  1. The Hotline is a toll-free voicemail service where callers are invited to share how slow play in golf has affected their life.
  2. Upon calling, you will hear a pre-recorded greeting and spoken disclaimer.
  3. After the tone, you may leave a voice message (a "Submission").
  4. There is no purchase necessary to call the Hotline or leave a message.

3. Data We Collect

When you call the Hotline, we collect:

  1. Your phone number — automatically captured via our telephony provider when you place your call.
  2. Your voice message — the audio recording of your Submission.
  3. Call metadata — including the date, time, and duration of your call.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it within your voice message.

4. How We Use Your Data

Storage & Review

  • Your phone number and voice message will be stored securely and reviewed by the MANORS and Gentleman Jack marketing teams.

Return Contact

  • We may call you back to:
    • Verify your age (21+) before any further engagement.
    • Offer promotional discounts or prizes related to the campaign.
    • Request your explicit consent to use your Submission in marketing materials.
    • Invite you to participate in further campaign activities.
  • We will not call you for unrelated marketing purposes or share your number with third parties.

Promotional Offers

  • Callers may receive promotional offers related to MANORS Golf or Gentleman Jack, communicated via return call or (with consent) SMS.
  • All offers involving alcohol are subject to applicable laws and available only to individuals aged 21+.

5. Use of Your Voice Message

Internal Use

  • We may listen to, transcribe, and internally share your Submission for creative development and campaign planning.

Public & Promotional Use

  • We may wish to use your Submission in marketing materials including social media, video content, out-of-home advertising, email, web, and press.
  • We will not publicly use your Submission without first obtaining your explicit consent. We will contact you via the phone number you called from to request permission.
  • If you grant permission, you agree to a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive licence for MANORS and Gentleman Jack / Brown-Forman to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, and distribute your Submission across all media.

Anonymisation

  • Where Submissions are used in aggregated, anonymised form where no caller is identifiable, we will still make reasonable efforts to notify callers before use.

6. Your Rights

  1. Opt out of return calls — say so in your message or email us. We will mark your number as "do not contact".
  2. Request deletion — email us to have your voice message and phone number permanently deleted.
  3. Withdraw consent — if you granted consent for public use, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

7. Data Retention

  1. Voice messages and phone numbers: retained for up to 12 months, unless consent for public use has been granted.
  2. Call metadata: retained for up to 24 months for analytics and compliance.
  3. Earlier deletion available on request.

8. Data Security & Sharing

  1. All data is stored using industry-standard encryption and access controls.
  2. Data is processed by Twilio Inc. in accordance with their privacy and data processing terms.
  3. Data may be shared with Brown-Forman Corporation solely for campaign purposes.
  4. We will not sell, rent, or share your data with unrelated third parties.

9. Alcohol Responsibility

  1. This promotion is associated with Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey, a product of Brown-Forman Corporation.
  2. By participating, you confirm you are 21 or older.

10. Disclaimer

  1. The Hotline is provided "as is" for entertainment and promotional purposes.
  2. Submissions should not contain offensive, defamatory, threatening, or illegal content. We reserve the right to delete such Submissions without notice.
  3. Neither MANORS nor Brown-Forman shall be liable for any loss arising from use of the Hotline.

Governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States.
